WEG SIGNS CONTRACT TO SUPPLY WIND TURBINES TO THE SANTO
INÁCIO WIND COMPLEX
WEG S.A. ("WEG") (BM&FBOVESPA: WEGE3 / OTC: WEGZY), in accordance to
CVM Instruction number 358/02, announces to shareholders and the general market
that has signed a contract with Aliança, to supply wind turbines, including operation
and maintenance services, for the Santo Inácio Wind Complex. Aliança is a Brazilian
company resulting from the partnership of Vale and Cemig to operate in the wind
energy market.
Located in Icapuí, in the State of Ceará, the Santo Inácio Wind Complex consists of
four generation farms totaling 98.7 MW in capacity, with the start-up of operations
expected for 2017.
