There were several issues in the WAT review that needed additional evaluation. There is concern about how the horticulture program was inactivated and the committee feels it would be in our best interests to review this decision. The committee would like to address in the master summary and will alert the dean and instructors. The Marine Science program is the only “program” that is addressed annually. It is difficult to assess because there are only a couple classes specific to that program. The other requirements come from a variety of disciplines that are addressed annually. The discussed getting Library Studies, General Studies and Guidance courses into the program review cycle, as well as the Community Ed programs. Moving forward to complete the rest of the KPIs. 5) Adjourned at 12noon.
