Decisions Required: Sandra – if there is a no in the prerequisite field, will the program check for the prerequisites or will we have to remember to go back and change the “Y” field if our pre-requisites are recorded in another table? Other Issues and Concerns: Action Items / Assignments Description Owner Deadline Overview of agenda: major forms and related tables, data standards, schematics and process flows, database principles and structures, report, processes, procedures, conversion issues and hands on exercises. List of validation tables provided in workbook for this session. IT will work with functional members to prepare these tables. SCBCRKY – every subject code and course that we offer in the catalog will have a start term and an end term. The first term will be the go-live term. Every subject and course in SCBCRSE has to be in SCBCRKY. The effective term must fall between the start term and end term. Parent/child relationship in these tables. We can terminate the use of a course. Prior courses must be in catalog, but we do not want them to be accessible to current students. SCRLEVL, SCRGMOD, SCRSCHD – children by subject code and effective term. Enter subject, course, term, start term and end term in BANNER. The main form will be SCACRSE – basic course information. In order to build SCBCRKY, we have to enter subject, course and term to build. SCACRSE – course title, college, division, department, status, CIP, credit hours, billing, lecture, lab, contact hours can all be built in SCACRSE. Partition preferences may be included in SCACRSE including data such as: number of seats, projection equipment, etc. SCADETL – includes course detail, fee codes degree attributes, transfer, supplemental data, course description, and text. We must decide which field we will use: description or text. The group decided that we should use the description field and not the text field. We need to send Sandra a list of HEGIS codes. She will need subject and course number and add into BANNER. Linda needs to provide course attributes to Sandra. As of this session, the decision has been made to use Spring 2009 (200920) for testing the data. SunGard Higher Education – Confidential & Proprietary 282219148 Page 2 of 2 5/29/2016
