Job Title: Production Control Administrator

Job Overview
Sterling Engineering, a subsidiary of Air Industries, is in search of a Production Control
Administrator for our complex machining facility. We specialize in the Aerospace and
Power Generation Industries.
General Tasks:









Prepare and process all incoming customer orders including work orders,
purchase orders, factory orders, travelers, pack lists, bills of lading, bar coding
and shipping documents.
Enter complex orders into ERP system as well as monitor order entry and labor
tickets.
Work with shop personnel to ensure proper order of jobs
Review documents for accuracy.
Coordinate shipping by working with internal shipping department and external
shippers
Use customer websites to arrange shipping, pull purchase orders and other
information
Interact in a professional manner with customers via phone and email.
Customer Service
Some general office administration
Requirements:




3-5 Years Administration experience; prefer experience in a job shop
environment in either shipping, sales, production or accounting.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and internet navigation
Need to be able to perform quickly in a fast paced environment with a high
degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail is a must.






Effective written and oral communication skills
Effective time management skills including multi-tasking under pressure
Dependable and dedicated with an excellent track record for both attendance
and punctuality.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Working Conditions:



Position requires sitting for more than 75% of the time and standing and walking
for 25% of the time.
Position requires extensive use of hands and fingers as well as reaching with
hands and arms.
Work is occasionally performed in an area with high noise volume.
