With Fair of Hearts this week, students had a fun time. We did some
fun activities in the classrooms as well. Take a look below at where
our learning has gone this past week.

Reading & Writing Workshop
This week in reading workshop we have been
exploring the world of poetry. Students started

Social Studies
This week we have started discussing
economics. We focused our time on
supply and demand, opportunity
cost, and scarcity. Students will
soon be creating their own company
where they will apply these economic
concepts.
Please continue to work on
mastering basic facts, as we will be
moving back into fractions soon.
Word Study
This week in word study we completed our Greek
and Latin root unit on a, ab, abs (meaning away
from). We also started a new unit on super and sur
(meaning over).
