This is a project position funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for a maximum period of two (2) years. This is not a permanent position. Job Duties: This project position is responsible for providing advanced, complex administrative and support services to the public health nutrition staff. Duties include providing administrative support for eight (8) professional staff and activities related to the Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) Communities Program and Physical Activity Program grant activities, and other programs as directed; coding and processing travel vouchers; coordinating and processing large mailings, correspondence; forms and publications revisions; word processing; processing documents, maintaining logs and records, and receiving and monitor requests for materials. This position performs a broad variety of duties requiring complex problem solving and independent judgment and provides program support to secondary grantees and many organizations, as well as work with a variety of state level programs. Special Notes: Wisconsin residency is required for this project position. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other related software and its applications using personal computers; advanced typing, word processing, editing and proofreading skills. Ability to effectively plan and organize the implementation of complex and lengthy projects involving the coordination of people within and outside of the unit; accurately organize and file materials; work independently and efficiently under general supervision and with a broad variety of professional and support staff; and good written and verbal communication skills.
