201. PASSPORT CULMINATION (0). Involves an individual meeting with an adviser to
confirm successful completion of the Passport program introduced in UBUS 200. Review for
successful completion of all 7 continents in the Passport Program introduced in UBUS 200. Once
verified, a business transcript reflecting student’s experiences and accomplishments will be
created. Satisfactory completion of UBUS 201 is a graduation requirement for all business
majors. To be taken during a student’s graduating semester. S/U grading. PRQ: UBUS 200.

Limited Retention Requirements
All business majors must complete UBUS 310 in the first semester in which they enroll in 300- or
400-level business courses. Prerequisites for UBUS 310 are: a grade of C or better in each of the
100- and 200-level courses in the Business Core; having satisfactorily completed UBUS 100: A,
B, C, and D1; having a 2.75 or better cumulative GPA; and having junior standing. …
Rationale: UBUS 100 was four workshops (identified as A, B, C, D) but is now taught as an eight-week workshop
series. (Course revision to reflect this approved by CUC on October 10, 2013.) The revised paragraph above
updates catalog language regarding Limited Retention Requirements for business majors with regard to UBUS 100.

Graduate Study in Business
The College of Business offers the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), the Master of
Accounting Science (M.A.S.) with an area of study, the Master of Science in Taxation (M.S.T),
the Master of Science (M.S.) in financial risk management, and the Master of Science (M.S) in
management information systems. These programs are accredited by AACSB International—The
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Rationale: The M.S. in financial risk management was approved by the IBHE on August 7, 2013, and should be
added to the list of graduate programs offered in the College of Business.

curriculum) was approved by the College of Business Curriculum Committee at its Eighth Meeting, March 25, 2014,
and should now be added to the Department of Management section of the catalog as it relates to both departments.
