How I Can Help As Your Peer Mentor: I was in your shoes a year ago and I remember wanting clarity to any questions I had and knowing the ropes of campus. I am a sophomore now and, in what feels like a short year, you'll be in my shoes and I hope I can help get you there. What I Was Nervous About: I was nervous about meeting friends and that there wouldn't be enough on campus activities for me. However, through various departments and clubs such as, First Year Programs and Student Programming Council, there is always something to do! What I Was Excited About: I was so excited to meet life long friends and push myself beyond my comfort level. I had so many expectations and goals and I was ready to put those into motion. Advice for the Class of 2019: Try new things! Take every opportunity that is available, it will help you figure out what you like and don't like. Never be afraid to be yourself. “I'm so excited to meet you!”
