How I Can Help As Your Peer Mentor: This is my eleventh school and fourth country that I have lived in. You would be surprised at how many people want to be your friend! I've been “the new kid” many times and I would love to help guide you through any hardships you may be having! What I Was Nervous About: I was afraid that I was going to be the only one who had trouble academically. Everyone here has there own strengths and weaknesses, so don't be afraid to ask others for help with your weaknesses, and even help others by using your strengths! I have never come across a professor who was not willing to help me! What I Was Excited About: I could not wait to be my own independent person and try new things. College is a fresh start and if there is something you wish you did in high school, now's the time to do it! Advice for the Class of 2019: Don't be afraid to go up to a group of new people; they're just as nervous as you are to start college. Join as many clubs that interest you, you'll find so many people who share that interest! “I cannot wait get to know you all in the Fall!”
