INTENDED USE:
The CodeLine Mod el 80 E30 Fib erglass RO Pressu re
Vessel is designed for continuous, long term use as a
h ousing for reverse osm osis membrane elements to
d esalt typical brackish waters at pressu res up to 300
p si. An y mak e of eigh t-inch nominal diameter spiralwound element is easily accommodated; the
appropriate in terfacing h ardware for the element
sp ecified is furnished with the vessel.
The Cod eLin e Mo del 8 0E30 is designed in
accordance with th e engineerin g standards of the
Boiler and Pressure Vess el Code of the American
Society of Mechanical En gin eers (ASME Co de). At
small add ition al cost, vessels can be in spected during
construction b y an ASME Authorized inspector and
ASM E Code stamped.
The CodeLine Mod el 8 0E30 must be installed,
op erated and maintained in accordance with the listed
p recautions an d good industrial p ractice to assu re
safe operation over a long service life.
The high performance reinforced plastic sh ell mu st
b e allowed to expand under pressure; undu e restrain t
at sup port points o r pip in g connection s can cause
leaks to develop in the sh ell. Th e end clo sure,
incorporating close fitting, interlocking metal
compon ents, mu st be kept d ry and free of corrosion;
d eterioration can lead to catastrophic m echan ical
failure of the h ead.
The end closures, in corporating close-fitting,

Pentair Water will assist th e purchaser in determining
th e suitability of this stan dard vessel for th eir sp ecific

sp ecific corrosive environ men t, shall be the
respo nsibility of the purchaser.
