JOSEPH A. HOLROYD, Vice President & COO, LakeMaster Corporation Mr. Holroyd’s technical background includes product design and development. He worked as a designer on large radar defense systems, Large Scale integrated (LSI) circuit development, thick and thin film circuit layout, and medical instrument development. He spent five years as the Director of Technical Sales and Marketing for a company developing catalysts for diesel engines. Holroyd’s corporate background includes a role as V.P. of Engineering and then V.P. of Operations for Dynatech Cryomedical Company, a division of Dynatech Corporation. The division grew from a startup operation to a dominant position in the field of cryosurgery. He was a founding member of the American College of Cryosurgery, and he holds five U.S. patents for high pressure valves used in cryogenic applications and blood centrifuge equipment. Mr. Holroyd holds a degree in Marketing from Northeastern University and a BS degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College. Mr. Holroyd’s responsibilities in startup companies have included facilitating a merger, an acquisition, a private stock placement, and securing venture capital funding. He has written numerous winning grant proposals for client companies. Mr. Holroyd serves as a trustee for the Endowment Committee of his local church, and in the past he has held positions as president of the Perinton Chamber of Commerce and a two-year term as president of the Upstate New York Alarm Dealers Association.
