RETROFIT in real life – Siemens 8BD1
Since several years we are supplying Retrofit solutions for the 8BD1. We replace the maintenance intensive minimum
oil circuit breaker with a maintenance free vacuum circuit breaker.
8BD Retrofit customers come from different branches worldwide, e.g. utilities, nuclear power plants, automotive-,
chemistry-, steel-, cement- and oil& gas-industry.
Features of the 8BD-Retrofit truck
Type tested truck as per new standard IEC 62271-200.
Circuit breaker maintenance-free as per IEC 62271-100.
No modifications are necessary on the fixed part of the switchgear.
