Siemens experts at
exhibition booth E2
We kindly invite you to attend the Siemens
booth at POWER-GEN Asia 2015 exhibition
and conference.
Experience our uniquely extensive expertise
in the electricity market, which ensures per
fect support, whether you’re planning to
invest in new power plant capacities or to
improve your existing capacities. As your
trusted partner, we run a trustworthy people
business and create lasting value by consult
ing with you to achieve a compelling return
on investment with manageable
expenditures.
Visit us at booth E2 and discover our cuttingedge products and solutions, such as the new
release of our SPPA-T3000, and our new com
bined gas turbine portfolio for central and
distributed power generation and combined
heat and power.
With the complete scope of Siemens’ portfo
lio, our experts from the regional hub in Asia
anticipate providing a tailored solution to fit
your unique needs in your respective country.
Record-breaking power plant solutions
As one of the world’s leading OEM and EPC
providers, we have 130 years of experience in
the construction of turnkey power plants with
extremely high efficiency levels, low emis
sions, and state-of-the art technology, as
demonstrated by more than 1,500 Siemens
power plants currently in commercial opera
tion worldwide. Each power plant is tailored
to the operator’s needs and features out
standing quality in every performance
category.
At the fair, our experts will be presenting
practical examples, such as the world’s most
efficient CHP plant, in Düsseldorf, Germany,
and combined cycle power plants equipped
with H-class gas turbines in successful com
mercial operation in South Korea.
Extended gas turbine portfolio
One of our focus topics will be our new
combined portfolio of industrial and
aeroderivative gas turbines. The acquisition
of Rolls-Royce aero-engine technology has
further expanded our world-class gas turbine
offering. A large-scale 3D display table will
provide detailed insights into advanced tur
bine technology for power generation as
well as industrial and oil and gas applications.
In addition, we will present our well-proven
H-class technology. Don’t miss the opportu
nity to discuss with peers and experts the fleet
experience gained from 16 turbines in suc
cessful commercial operation with a high
degree of starting reliability and availability.
Steam turbines: flexible and dynamic
operation
The amount of volatile renewable energy is
increasing, and large conventional power
plants have to compensate for these grid fluc
tuations. Power plants will be operated in
part load for longer periods of time than
today. Siemens steam turbines provide one
answer for enhancing power plants to handle
these challenges. Siemens provides an over
view of measures that realize the require
ments of primary/secondary frequency con
trol, increased efficiency in part load
operation, and fast start-up times in the most
beneficial way.

Power generation services
Our aim is to deliver the right service solu
tions for your gas turbine, steam turbine, or
generator to increase efficiency, reliability,
and availability throughout the entire life
cycle of your assets. From modernizations
and upgrades, remote monitoring, lifetime
extensions, and condition monitoring to
turnkey service, we support you to achieve
optimal performance and maximize success.
We offer a comprehensive range of solutions
within the scope of our Flex-Power Services™
initiative, especially in the area of opera
tional flexibility.
New release of SPPA-T3000 Cue: raising
performance in power plant operation
SPPA-T3000 Cue is designed to help you get
the most out of your plant through outstand
ing operator effectiveness and efficiency. The
control system enables simple, reliable dayto-day operation and quick reaction in critical
situations. All work processes are optimally
supported through features such as ergo
nomic design, the integration of applica
tions, clear instructions, and transparency of
upcoming issues.
Hybrid Power Solutions: minimizing
emissions and customer risk, maximizing
profitability
Siemens Hybrid Power Solutions integrate
high levels of renewable energy with diesel
power plants, customized to the specific
local conditions such as solar irradiation,
wind speed, and consumer loads. This
hybridization leads to a significant reduction
in operating costs and carbon emissions.
Utilizing integrated battery storage ensures
high grid stability, even during periods of up
to 100 percent peak penetration of renew
able generation.
