Steam turbines: flexible and dynamic
operation
The amount of volatile renewable energy is
increasing, and large conventional power
plants have to compensate for these grid fluc­
tuations. Power plants will be operated in
part load for longer periods of time than
today. Siemens steam turbines provide one
answer for enhancing power plants to handle

supported through features such as ergo­
nomic design, the integration of applica­

emissions and customer risk, maximizing

Siemens Hybrid Power Solutions integrate
high levels of renewable energy with diesel
power plants, customized to the specific
