Norwell District Secondary School Norwell is located in the town of Palmerston. It is home to about 710 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers a full range of academic, arts, technical and sports program. Norwell (which stands for North Wellington) DSS has a rich history that began in the fall of 1940 as the Palmerston High School. Clubs at Norwell include Concert Band, Green (Environmental), Club, Student Council, and Newspaper. Over 90% of the students are bused from a wide area of approximately 500 square kilometers.
