Homework for 5/4/2015
Your student should read for at least 15 minutes, at least 5 days a week. They will track this
using their Reading Log which will be turned in on the last class day of the month. A parent,
guardian, or after care teacher must sign the log for each entry.
Tuesday- Thursday: Practice Math Flashcards for 15 minutes each night.
Monday:
Spelling (Words Their Way- WTW) – Write words two times in their correct columns.
Math- Measurement Data Sheet
Social Studies- Unit 6: Test
Tuesday:
Spelling- Begin writing sentences using each of the spelling words. (You can use more than one
spelling word in each sentence.)
Math- Chapter 11 Review Sheet
Science- none
Wednesday:
Spelling- Complete writing the spelling words in sentences.
Math- Review for Chapter 11: Test tomorrow
Social Studies- none
Thursday:
Spelling- Study for test tomorrow
Math- Chapter 11: Test
Science- Study for Chapter 2: All About Animals Test on Thursday, May 14th
Friday:
Spelling- Test
Math- none
Friday Journal- ENTRY COMMENT MUST BE MADE BY PARENT/GUARDIAN.
**All Homework assigned is due the day after it is assigned (i.e. homework assigned Monday is due
Tuesday, etc.) Spelling may be started early as long as it is completed by the day it is due. If you have
