HEAD OF SALES AND
MARKETING
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Summary
Research, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and detailed plan to drive profitability
and market share. Lead the commercial sales and marketing activities to ensure Zero Latency fully
harnesses its leadership position.
Remuneration and benefits

Responsibilities and expectations
Primary priorities

Research and develop a comprehensive, credible and compelling marketing strategy that details
segmentation, target market selection, positioning within target markets, value propositions etc.

Review current product decision plans relating to branding, experience and offering.

Define the product pricing strategy, including suggested purchase price, volume/cash discounts,
bundles, price flexibility/adjustment etc.

Establish the promotional strategy, including advertising, to consumers, operators and investors.

Research, qualify and rank leads

Travel internationally to undertake sales and marketing activities

Establish and manage client and potential client relationships

Understand the needs of potential client and develop tailored solutions

Produce and deliver sales presentations to potential clients

Successfully negotiate competitive terms and conditions with clients
Secondary priorities

Managing existing accounts to maximise referrals and generate further business

Ad hoc drafting of content to assist sales and marketing requirements

Recruitment of additional sales and marketing team members

Other duties as required
Skills, knowledge and experience

Global new product launch experience

Proven track record in leading sales and marketing function(s)

Comfortable with ambiguity

Proven negotiation skills

Strong presentation ability

Ability to use market analysis and research tools

Passionate and excited by the future of Virtual Reality

Excellent research skills


Related undergrad/post grad qualification or 5 years+ experience in marketing leadership role(s)
