If a student misses class on the day of a test, he/she must schedule the make-up test on the day he/she returns to class at the time established by the instructor. If no arrangements are made, or if he/she fails to show up at the arranged time, he/she will receive a zero. LATE WORK Students are expected to complete all work on time. A maximum of four daily assignments will be accepted late per 9 weeks, and they must be accompanied by the late work coupon that the teacher provides. Major projects will be penalized severely for each calendar day they are turned in after the due date. ACADEMIC DISHONESTY Students who copy homework or give or receive information about tests are violating the honor code, and will be disciplined accordingly. Students talking, passing notes, using a cell phone, or communicating in any way during testing will be regarded as cheating and disciplined according to school policy. TUTORIALS Tutorial times for French will be at lunch, during Go time or after school by appointment. ATTENDANCE/TARDIES Because the class builds upon and practices new concepts and vocabulary every day, attendance is very important. Tardy students disrupt class, so students who are tardy more than one time will face disciplinary consequences. Lessons are subject to change depending on students’ need and/or progress. There will be frequent announced and unannounced quizzes (oral and written).
