Online Course Orientation Are you self-motivated? Do you consider yourself a self-educator? Are you responsible? Are you capable of managing your time well? Are you willing to commit to a daily physical fitness regime that meets the ACSM requirements? If you could answer YES to all five of these questions, you have a chance to do well in this course. Online courses are “different” & not meant to be interpreted as “more difficult” than the typical lecture setting. There are no 2nd chances in an online course so you should not ask for one. All deadlines are posted on D2L and in your syllabus. It is your responsibility to keep up in the course. Technical difficulties/hardships (no internet) are not an excuse for not completing your work on time. There are no daily reminders in an online course. This is not an excuse for missing work or simply not progressing through the course.
