Hired as a Senior Test Analyst and got promoted to a Test lead within 2 months of being with the bank.
A team of 8 Test Analysts for Pega Online applications project.
Responsibilities:
 Created daily test progress reports
 Reviewed business requirements and functional specification documents
 Designed and created test cases in QC and test data using MS SQL
 Test execution during system testing, system integration testing, end to end testing, Non –
Functional testing, Regression testing, Cross Browser testing and Device & Mobile testing.

1. Ebony / Originations (Agile)
The introduction of a white-labelled (Pega) Online Application Form designed to be re-useable for a
variety of retail banking products. Initially one programme of work, but this quickly expanded to the
test management of four simultaneous programmes of work by January 2015.
 Created Test Plans, Testing Road Map and also took part in Test case preparation and Test
execution.
 Developed the cross browser / device strategy to ensure the form was in a customer ready state
prior to UAT.
 Responsible for all estimation, resource planning, reporting, resource hiring and staff
development and Stakeholder Management.
 Assisted the programme manager in the performance of project management and solution
delivery activities during resource re-assignment.
 All System testing, System Integration testing and E2E was performed by my Pega Online team
allowing the successful transition into UAT test phases. Resources were based in Australia,
India and the UK.
 Testing was performed on the online form against multiple internal and external Integration
Points to ensure the Business Rules required had been delivered.
 All test related documents like Test plan, Test strategy, Test data, etc were maintained in
SharePoint and confluence in order to make sure rest of the teams can be able to access or review
the documents.
 Products worked on include: Credit Cards, Transactions and Savings Accounts, WRAP forms,
Pre-Paid Cards and Mortgages. The most recent delivery was with the Woolworths Group and
Macquarie Group

1. Next Generation Consolidation Tool (NGC) (Agile)
NGC Project was intended to assist customers consolidate their superannuation into one account. The
updated tool would be extended to the CFS branded channel, FirstNet Investor (FNI). This application
helped customers to search for lost super and enable electronic rollovers.
 The ATO did not have any specific services that allowed financial institutions to search for
lost, active and inactive super on behalf of their customers. They offer web tools for
searching lost super (SuperSeeker) and active and inactive super (SuperMatch). So the Super
Sorter tool allowed customers to consolidate their superannuation more easily. This will
assist with the process of funding accounts which will drive FUM across the product range
and assist with fund retention for the existing customer base.
 Managed a team of 4 test analysts mainly focusing on manual testing tasks, system
integration testing, end2end testing on different browsers (safari, IE, firefox) and devices
(iPhone, iPad, Android, etc).
 Project was based on Agile methodology, actively involved in preparing daily update
meeting, scrum meetings.
2. Charles River V9 (Agile)
The purpose of the Charles River project is to upgrade the current version of Charles River Investment
Management System (CRIMS) to version 9, move to a Managed Service support model and improve
business processes. As part of improving business processes the project will migrate the Real Index
team’s portfolio modelling, rebalancing, order generation and exposure management to Charles River.
The need of implementing this project was for Equity Trading (Cash flow trading and Rebalancing
trading), Futures Trading, Dashboard and Reporting.
 Worked as sole Tester on this project and responsible for creation of new trades (in CR
version 9) using existing portfolios in Australian ETL database and push it to UK ETL
database (CR version 9 and version 8).
 After every overnight batch ran an SQL query was run to make sure all the data had been
updated in UK database. Part of this process was involved in daily meetings with the stake
holders in UK and Australia, sending daily status report, working closely with front office
support team for data verification and account creation
 All defects were raised and managed in Quality Centre
3. Investment Stabilisation (Agile)
Investment Stabilisation is underpinned with the technologies of Sybase (UNIX) and Informatica
(Wintel). The current versions of these software’s are unsupported by their respective vendors. They
were also deployed on physical servers that are at ‘end of life’. Stabilising the Investment Database
platform which implied a software and hardware refresh of the underlying technology stack.
 Aim of project was to upgrade all the investment applications like CRED, ARPA, investment
operations, etc to a new higher version server.
 Managed a team of 8 test analysts, involved in test planning, test resourcing, test road map,
client meetings, daily status reports, defect triaging, test summary report and UAT support.

4. SSRS (Substantial Shareholding Reporting System) (Agile)
Substantial Shareholding Reporting project was about managing regulatory risk by having a robust
process to ensure all reporting on substantial shareholdings meets requirements across all jurisdictions
where the CBA group has a relevant interest.
 The Substantial Shareholding Reporting System (SSRS) will provide the Bank with the
capability to monitor thresholds across all jurisdictions and report on its substantial
shareholdings across the entire CBA Group, in an efficient and timely manner.
 Involved mainly in end2end testing to make sure reporting and shareholding data is getting
updated in right format. This involves constant meetings with Pega frontend team and
Bloomberg (Data provider) teams, test case preparation and execution for end2end scenarios,
defect triage on date issues and UAT support.
Achievements:
 Maintained strong working relationships with offshore employees, and used these
relationships to determine best-fit methodologies for key projects.
 Introduced rules and standards for the writing of test conditions, in order to make it easy for
the project team to understand what exactly the test case is about without looking into the test

1. Compass (Special Project) (Agile and Waterfall)
Compass is a vital project going on in St George bank with different environments setup and the
different applications like the Mobile Banking, Card Activation, IVR, Mobile Banking, E-statements,
SMS and MMS alerts, Host Access for the End-To-End systems. Compass was also a customer facing
application it is important that each and every scenario has to be given high priority. For card
activation Host access needed to be used in order to check at the back end whether the activation wa
done for the correct card or not and whether the system the right details of the customer at the front
end. For this Project the high priority has been given to the E-statements along with the Card
activation.
 Involved in all the manual testing activities from test strategy planning to deployment of
regression.
 Responsible for resource planning, estimations and recruited team members. Managed a team
of 10 members spread across various location. Created and managed tasks in Quality centre
