We will send you a weekly email with lesson summaries for all the classes.

Please refer to your child's class session.

Parents: please make sure that your kid/kids bring their file every

Friday as it is needed to save the class’s work in.

Safa Class: Boys and Girls (4-5 years)

**Qur’an:

 Teacher Omaima revised all the Surahs that have been given during the last term. The old Surahs are:

ةحتافلا

Al-Fatiha,

سانلا

Al-Nass, صلاخلإا

AlIkhlas and

Surah

قلفلا

Al-Falaq

 Please work with your children on the learning and understanding of these

Surahs.

 Please use the Quran apps that are mentioned in the weekly parent’s tasks to help your children learn Quran.

**Arabic Language Session:

 Teacher Batool did an overall revision with the children on all the Arabic alphabets that have been taken so far.

The children have been given several words in Arabic as examples.

The letters so far are:

أ,ب,ت,ث, ج,ح, ,خ , ش , س , ز ,ر ,ذ,د,

ص,ض

 The children were really involved and enjoyed the revision session as teacher Batool did it in a fun and playful form.

** Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)

 We practised our new song featured in our course Kalima Tayyiba. It is called 'A is for Allah' and it is an Arabic alphabet song with Arabic words and information about Islam. Please listen to it with your children so they will be used to it for next week in sha’a Allah. You can view the video online at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L-GOHa5-YQ

Teacher Helen did an overview with the children about their holiday connecting this with the good deeds that they have done during the holiday.

She reviewed the topic of blessings and asked them to share the blessings that they had during the holiday and how to thank Allah for his blessings.

**Activities:

 The children practised with teacher Batool a new song about the Arabic alphabets.

 The children also wrote and practised the alphabets.

**Weekly tasks for parents:

 Please make sure that your child spends time writing and practising the

Arabic alphabet letters that they have already learnt and try to highlight them when they read Qur’an as well for practise.

 Please read Quran with your child everyday for at least 10 minutes.

 Please make sure that your child practises and listens to all Surahs they have learnt so far.

 The children learnt to thank Allah for the uncountable blessings that Allah gives us so please work with your child about these blessings and how we could thank and praise Allah for them.

Noor Al- Islam: (7-9) years

**

Quran:

Teacher Faida revised for the last time Surah ردقلا Al-Qadr for the children who haven’t yet memorised it.

 Teacher Faida will start with a new Surah this Friday so please make sure that your children learn the old Surahs.

** Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)

 Teacher Faida went with the children with an overview about the last given topics.

 She gave the topic about the paradise and its features and how people live in

Paradise and what they do in paradise.

 The children did the activities in the book that related to the topic.

**Activities:

 Teacher Faida told the children the story of the Wonder Tree that talked and witnessed with the Prophet Mohammad.

 It is a famous story about the prophet Mohammad and the children much enjoyed listening to the story.

**Weekly tasks for parents:

 The children have to learn the Surah نوعاملا Al-Maoon Surah ردقلا Al-Qadr.

 Please make sure that your child practise and listen to the Surahs daily. This will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation and accelerate their memorising. Your child has to practise Quran everyday for at least 15 minutes.

 Children have to read more about the description of Paradise and how and what people do in the Paradise.

Ahebaa Allah Class: Girls (10+)

**Qur'an:

Sister Asmaa started a new Surah with the girls ريوكتلا ( Al-Takweer).

 Teacher Asmaa gave the first 9 Ayahs from the Surah with Tajweed.

Teacher Asmaa explained the rule of Al-Ithhar in Tajweed and gave the girls homework to pick all Al- Ithhar located in the previous Surah we learnt سبع (

Abassa)

They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them properly.

**Activities:

 Teacher Helen took over the class for the last half hour and raised the topic about the difficulties that the girls face in this western society because they are Muslim.

 The effects of the changing of the global attitude toward Islam and

Muslims.

 Teacher Helen collected very interesting views about the western life and the different attitudes that they have toward the western society. The views were efficient and help us to understand more about the girls’ thinking and how we could make it easier for them to settle in this society and cope with the challenges that they have face in their daily life.

** The Stars in the Prophet’s Orbit

 Teacher Asmaa talked about the bibliography of the companion Mus’ab Bin

Umair.

 How he converted to Islam and his parents disowned him and the troubles he had upon this.

 His character, manners and support to the prophet Mohammad with his

Da’waa to Islam and his influence in the Islamic History.

 How he gave up his wealth and honour towards Islam.

 The story will be completed next week, so please ask your daughter to complete reading the bibliography about this companion.

**Weekly tasks for parents:

 Please encourage your child to truthfully perform ةلاص (Salat,) read Quran and do their remembrance of Allah.

 Work with them to learn and memorise the entire Surah Abasa with Tajweed.

 Please make sure that your girls practise and listen to the Surah daily. This will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation in order to accelerate their memorising.

 Please ask your daughter to complete reading the bibliography about the companion Mus’ab Bin Umair.

 Prepare the Tajweed homework for the next session.

Fetyan Al-Islam: Boys (8-11)

**The new teacher Bilal takes over the boys’ class.

Qur'an:

Sister Asmaa started a new Surah with the boys’ ريوكتلا Surah (Al-Takweer).

Teacher Asmaa gave the first 9 Ayahs from the Surah with Tajweed.

 Teacher Asmaa explained the rule of Al-Ithhar in Tajweed and gave the boys homework to pick all Al- Ithhar locations in the previous Surah سبع ( Abassa)

 They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them properly.

**Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)

 Teacher Bilal started a new lesson with the boys about the Gift of ءوضولا

(Whudu) and ةلاص (Salat)

 Teacher Bilal explained about the spiritual and physical importance of Whudu and Salat.

 Why the prophet Mohammad heard the steps of the Companion Bilal

Alhabashi in Paradise and it was because of his Whudu and prayer after

Whudu.

 Why the Salat is important for every Muslim to perform for 5 times a day?

 The children completed the activity related to this topic in the workbook.

**

The Men Around the Prophet:

 Teacher Bilal talked to the boys about the Bibliography of the companion

Bilal Alhabashi.

 His life story from the Slavery to Freedom.

 How he was tortured by his Master Omia Bin Khalaf.

 How he was patient and struggled and never gave up his Islam.

 His famous word دحأ دحأ Allah is the only One God.

 Then how the companion Abu Bakr Al-Seddique bought him from his

Master and freed him.

 Then he became the Prophet Mohammad’s Muathen ( لوسرلا نذؤم ).

 Bilal Alhabashi is one of the companions that Allah gives them the good news that they will be in paradise while they are alive.

**Weekly tasks for parents:
