We will send you a weekly email with lesson summaries for all the
classes. Please refer to your child's class session.
Parents: please make sure that your kid/kids bring their file every
Friday as it is needed to save the class’s work in.
Safa Class: Boys and Girls (4-5 years)
**Qur’an:
 First of all, teacher Omaima revised all the old Surahs.
 The children then have been practising a new Surah ‫النصر‬Al-Nassr.
 Teacher Omaima listened to the children to test their memorising and
knowledge of Surahs that they know.
 Please keep working with your children on the learning and understanding of
these Surahs, so they don’t forget them.
 Please revise all the Surahs that have been given so far. The old Surahs are:
‫الفاتحة‬Al-Fatiha, ‫ الناس‬Al-Nass, ‫اإلخالص‬Al-Ikhlas and Surah ‫ الفلق‬Al-Falaq,‫الكوثر‬
Al-Kawthar.
 Please use the Quran apps that are mentioned in the weekly parent’s tasks to
help your children learn Quran.
**Arabic Language Session:
 Teacher Batool went briefly through the Arabic alphabet nasheed.
 Children practised the new letter ‫ف‬
 words containing the new letter have been given; for example :‫فيل‬,
elephant,
 The letters so far are: ‫أ‬,‫ب‬,‫ت‬,‫ث‬,
‫ج‬,‫ح‬, ,‫ خ‬, ‫ ش‬,‫س‬,‫ ز‬,‫ ر‬,‫ذ‬,‫د‬,
‫ف‬,‫غ‬,‫ع‬,‫ ظ‬,‫ ط‬,‫ص‬,‫ض‬
 Children practised the letter and coloured the picture of elephant.
**Islamic Studies:
 Teacher Batool worked with the children on the Islamic Manners of eating.
 The children learnt that they have to wash hands, say Bismillah, eating
while sitting and mouth closed and eat the food which is nearest to them.
**Activities:
 The children practised the song I am a little Muslim with teacher Omaima.
 Children spent a while enjoying making craft practising letters .‫ف‬
 The children learnt the manners of eating while having a simple picnic and
having chocolate muffins
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please make sure that your child spends time writing and practising the
Arabic alphabet letters that they have already learnt and try to highlight them
when they read Qur’an as well for practise.
 Please read Quran with your child everyday for at least 10 minutes.
 Please make sure that your child practises and listens to all Surahs they have
learnt so far.
 Work with them to learn saying and Arabic writing of (‫ )بسم هللا‬Bismillah ( ‫الحمد‬
‫ )هلل‬al-hamdulillah) )‫ )سبحان هللا‬subhaan Allah,)‫ ( هللا أكبر‬Allahu akbar and ‫( ال إله إال‬
)‫ هللا‬la ilaha illAllah.
 Please work with your children on practising the manners of eating and try to
apply them while they having food.
 For more information and to revise for your kids, I recommend referring to
the Al-Nabulsi’ encyclopaedia of Islamic Science. This website is available in
many different languages which makes it really helpful.
 For those students whose tongue is not Arabic, I recommend that you
download the Ayat (‫ )آيات‬App or ’’The Quran House’’ app if you want your
children to enhance their Quran reading with Tajweed.

 Please try to read a bedtime story to your kids from Syrah or the Islamic
History in a way to improve their Islamic behaviour and manners by finding

Marwa Class: Boys and Girls (6-7 years)
Parents: please make sure that your kid/kids bring their file every
Friday as it is needed to save the class’s work in it. Thank you.
**Qur’an:
 Teacher Omaima listened to the children while they read the Surahs they




know.
Many of the children actually don’t know the Surahs that they have learnt
before.
Please work with your child on learning and understanding these Surahs.
Please use the Quran apps that mentioned in the weekly parents tasks to help
your child learning Quran properly.
The old Surahs are: Al-Fatiha, ‫ الزلزلة الفاتحة‬Al-Zalzalah Surah ‫الماعون‬AlMaoon, ‫الفيل‬Al-Feel, ‫المسد‬Al-Massad.
 A new Surah ‫القارعة‬Al-Qariah has been given and children from Ayah 1-4
have to practise it at home with the all Surahs have been given so far.
**Arabic Language Session:
 Teacher Omaima gave the children some word to spell in Arabic as an
advanced step to learn Arabic words rather than letters.
Children practised the new letter ‫غ‬,‫ع‬

 The letters so far are: ‫أ‬,‫ب‬,‫ت‬,‫ث‬,
‫ج‬,‫ح‬, ,‫ خ‬, ‫ ش‬,‫س‬,‫ ز‬,‫ ر‬,‫ذ‬,‫د‬,
‫غ‬,‫ع‬,‫ ظ‬,‫ ط‬,‫ص‬,‫ض‬
 Please help your child to spell Arabic words to enhance their Arabic
pronunciation.
** Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)
 Teacher Batool covered the lesson 7 from the curriculum book talking
about the manners of eating.
 Children learnt about the main important Islamic manners in eating.
 The children learnt that they have to wash hands, say Bismillah, eating
while sitting and mouth closed and eat the food which is nearest to them.
**Activities:
 Children were colouring and decorating a plate containing the
manners of eating.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please make sure that your child spends time writing and practising the
Arabic alphabet letters that they have already learnt and try to highlight them
when they read Qur’an as well for practise.
 Please read Quran with your child everyday for at least 10 minutes.
 Please make sure that your child practises and listens to all Surahs they have
learnt so far.

 Also try to tell them more stories from the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) life so
they can learn more about his morality and manners.

Noor Al- Islam: (7-9) years
**Quran:
 Teacher Faida worked with the children on a new Surah ‫(الفيل‬Al-Al-Feel) so

please make sure that your children learn this Surah and revise all the old
Surahs that they have learnt so far.
Children need more support at home regarding their Quran reading and
memorising.
** Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)
 As there were many absent children, so no new lesson was given.
 Teacher Faida did a whole revision about the Syrah.
 Teacher Faida also revised the Parents obedience.
**Activities:
 Children practised the Onshooda that they will sing in the last year
production.
 Also, we played a quiz game to revise the syrah lesson.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 The children have to revise all the Surahs ‫ الماعون‬have been taken so far AlMaoon Surah ‫ القدر‬Al-Qadr and ‫ ( الهمزة‬Al-Humazah), ‫(الفيل‬Al-Al-Feel).
 Please make sure that your child practise and listen to the Surahs daily. This
will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation and accelerate their
memorising. Your child has to practise Quran everyday for at least 15
minutes.
 Children have to read more about the Prophet Mohammad’s (SAW) Syrah.
 They have to learn and memorise Al-Salawat Al-Ibrahimia, as they practised
and wrote it in the classroom. Please note that this is their home work for this
week.

Fetyan Al-Islam: Boys (8-11)

**Qur'an:
 Teacher Asmaa revised the 21 Ayahs from Surah ‫ التكوير‬Surah (Al-Takweer)


that have been given before.
Teacher Asmaa added more 5 new Ayahs from the Surah with Tajweed until
Ayah 26.
They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every
day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them learning and memorising
them properly.
**Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)
 Teacher Bilal covered the lesson7 from the curriculum book which talks about
supplication that we say before starting the reciting Surah Al Fatiha.
 The teacher Bilal covered the Characteristics, traits and qualities of Prophet.
Muhammad (SAW).
 He talked about his main characteristics manners that made him greatest
person in the world not only as a prophet but also as a leader and innovator.
**Activities:
 Teacher Bilal worked with the children through the activity relating to the


topic from the activity book.
The children were engaged in practising and writing the supplication.
Please help your child to practise and memorise this supplication.
‫» وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات واألرض حنيفا وما أنا من المشركين إن صالتي ونسكي ومحياي‬
. ‫» ومماتي هلل رب العالمين ال شريك له وبذلك أمرت وأنا من المسلمين‬
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please encourage your child to truthfully perform ‫( صالة‬Salat,) read Quran and
do their remembrance of Allah.
 Work with them to learn and memorise the new Ayahs from Surah AlTakweer until Ayah 21 with Tajweed.
 Memorise the 3 Surahs Al-Nazea’at , Abassa nad Al –Takweer if they want to
enter the Quran Competition.
 Please make sure that your children practise and listen to the Surah daily.
This will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation in order to
accelerate their memorising.
 Please ask your children to read more about the character of the prophet
Mohammad and his bibliography.
 Also, practising and memorising the above supplication.
 Try to learn more and more form his life and all the great achievements that
he made and try to apply them to their life.
 The children have to learn and read about the things that invalidate the Salat.

Ahebaa Allah Class: Girls (10+)
**Qur'an:
 As sister Asmaa was working with the girls on the Salat topic which took a



long time and discussion therefore there was no Quran session.
However, the girls have to revise the old Ayahs that have been given from
Surah (Al-Takweer) in the last sessions.
Please ask you girls to read more about these rules ant try to apply them in
their Quran reading and memorising.
They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every
day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them
properly.
** Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)
 Teacher Asmaa covered the lesson 7 from the curriculum book which talks
about the following topics:
 The importance of Salat: where he talked about the Salat as the second Pillar
of Islamic Pillars and Islam is built on Salat, about its importance as method of
direct communication with Allah and also how success is lies in Salat.
 The benefits of Salat: here the teacher covered the benefits which the
Muslim will gain from Salat, such as protection from evil and washing our sins
enrich our souls and help us to be humble.
 The abandoning of Salat: in this topic teacher Bilal covered what the
meaning of abandoning of Salat and the main consequences of it. The children
learnt that the abandoning of Salat means that the person will be disobeying
Allah, he will be ungrateful fro Allah’s favour and he will be stigmatized as a
lazy and hypocrite.
 Then teacher Nadia took over and talked in details about benefits of Salat, this
is the summary of the lesson:

To make the students be aware of the medical benefits of Salat.

enable learners to:

Understand the benefits of every step in Salat from the medical science point of
view.
Update students’ knowledge of the latest scientific research in the benefits of
Salat as mind/body medicine.

o Health benefits of Sala’m
Discussed one of the latest research papers on the importance of Salat as
mind/body medicine:
Effect of Muslim prayer (Salat) on and electroencephalography and its
relationship with autonomic nervous system activity.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please encourage your daughter to truthfully perform ‫( صالة‬Salat,) read Quran
and do their remembrance of Allah.
 Work with them to learn and memorise the entire Surah Abasa with Tajweed.
 Please make sure that your girls practise and listen to the Surah daily. This
will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation in order to accelerate
their memorising.
 Please ask your daughter to learn more about the Salat, importance, benefits
and the consequences of abandoning Salat.
