Russians were still unhappy because the gov’t supported WWI Bolsheviks ran against the new government and wanted a Marxist country in which they planned to abolish private property and enforce social equality Bolsheviks was led by Vladimir Lenin, was kicked out of Russia After the Revolution Got peace from Germany but had to give up huge chunks of land Some Russians didn’t like that and separated from the Bolsheviks and became White Guard White Guard got some military from the United States and France Civil war went on between the two groups for three years Millions died and the Bolsheviks remained on top in 1920 Russia was even more of a wreck than it was before and gained some capitalist motives to gain food production After it got back on its feet in 1922 it became Soviet Union Then Lenin died in 1924 and nobody knew who was going to take the seat Comments/connections… Who authorized for Lenin to get kicked out?
