STRATEGIES – CHIẾN LƯỢC Bạn có biết không? Khi dạy khóa bạn sẽ ảnh hưởng người bạn dạy suốt một cuộc đời! Did you know? Teaching means your impact on students will last a lifetime. How will you change someone life! Renee Moore, teacher leader with the Center for Teaching Quality (CTQ). “Everything we say and do in our classrooms has some effect on students.” Here are eight strategies to improve your teaching! 1. Get to Know Your Students – Get to know your youth as a big brother/sister and be the GOOD role model 2. Get Into Data Tracking – Keep track of your lesson, key points and see how they manifest in each youth 3. Listen to Your Students – Listen to them and help them discretely (not to gossip) 4. Ask for Youth’s Opinions – Depends on the branch but have some elements of this to improve your teaching 5. Talk to Your Former Students – Get motivation or learn of what works and what not working 6. Keep a Teaching Journal – Like the spiritual bouquet – keep track to see what are your strength and weaknesses 7. Discus and Learn from other Youth leaders, especially Jesus – Learn from others and use what works 8. Don’t Forget the Small Stuff – The little things that make a big impact Always 1. Focus on One at a Time – focus on one or two youths at a time and increase their faith (pick the most troublesome) 2. Think About How Kids Think – be in their shoes as once when you were them 3. Go Visiting – Visit other chapters, other classrooms and see the diversity of how to impart knowledge 4. Get It on Video – practice makes perfect, and or tape your lesson while you teach and watch them again to discuss/assess and improve/change.
