Cell Simile Project Guide
You will create three cells on your poster paper. The three cells will have pictures that represent the
organelles from magazines, drawings, or 3D objects fixed to the cells. You may use the same organelle
simile for multiple cells; however each cell must have everything in the cart below.





Each object will represent an organelle in the chart below. Label the object on the poster with
the organelle name.
Describe the organelle’s size and appearance. Your description should be of the real organelle
in a real cell.
Each object must have a description of the job that each organelle does. This is done in the
chart.
Each object must have an explanation as to why this object was used to represent that
organelle. “It’s like a ______________ because it ____________________________. This is
done in the chart.
Include your organelle chart.
