• 40 degrees Latitude and 70 degrees Longitude is the latitude and longitude of New York City.

Why would you want to stay
• Because there is so many site seeing places such as the
• Statue of Liberty
• The Empire State building
• And the Monument for the twin towers

Major Resources
• The Northeast region of the United States is an area extremely rich in natural resources, which is one reason early settlers were so attracted to it.

Major landform
• One major landform is the appellation mountains.

How has pollution affected the lives of the people in the North East
• In some cases wildlife populations have suffered severe losses or even faced extinction due to pollution. For example, the bald eagle, peregrine falcon, and brown pelican all nearly became extinct before scientists discovered that the synthetic chemical DDT was the cause of devastating reproductive failure in these species. Oil spills, such as the fouling of the coast of southern Alaska by the grounding of the Exxon Valdez

• They reason the people have chose the north east is because they probably like to be in the big city and where there is good pay to.

• It depend on fleets of trucks, trains, planes and boats to transport food over.

• One major tradition is that everyone goes to time square on December 31 st and celebrates
New years Eve and watches the ball drop.
