CALL TO WORSHIP
Sing to God in thanksgiving;
make music on the harp to our God,
who covers the sky with clouds,
who prepares rain for the earth,
who makes the hills green with grass.
Let us worship our Creator God.

OPENING PRAYER
Through our worship of you this morning, may we find our hearts
and minds united with your Creating Spirit. Help us to be truly
grateful for the gift of life you share with us. Inspire us in this hour
together so that we may care more deeply for your good earth.
Amen.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
O Mystery beyond our defining and confining:
Come and infuse your creation with life
and connect all the parts with one another and with you.
O Snowdrop, God embodied in fragile form:
Come and break through hard earth,
to bring us new life and beauty.
O Water of Life, you fall to renew the earth,
you spray and splash, bubble and flow in river and ocean,
you are still and deep,
and quench the thirst of all creation:
Come, refresh us, cleanse us, satisfy our thirst.
Creator God, who moved on the face of the waters,
pour out your Spirit on the whole creation
and renew the face of the earth. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us
this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power and the
glory, forever and ever. Amen.

OFFERTORY and PRESENTATION OF OUR GIFTS
*THE DOXOLOGY:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
praise God, all creatures high and low;
give thanks to God in love made known:
Creator, Word and Spirit, One.
541
*THE OFFERTORY PRAYER (all)
To wake from sleep into this new day is gift enough for thanks. To
hear a child’s delight in laughter is gift enough for thanks. To sip a
glass of clean, cold water is gift enough for thanks. Accept our gifts
that all may share in them. Amen.
*CLOSING HYMN
O For a World
*COMMISSIONING & BENEDICTION
We have gathered to seek God’s Presence,
and to give praise for God’s gift of Creation.
As we go out into the world, may we work together
in our homes, work places, and city
to ensure Creation is protected.
And may we take time this week
to enjoy Creation’s beauty
and thank God for it. Amen.
*SUNG BLESSING:
Go now in peace. Never be afraid.
God will go with you each hour of everyday.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know He will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love, and show you believe.
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.
Amen. Amen. Amen.
