My name is Mrs. Dunn, and I would like to briefly introduce myself. I am going to be filling in as Mrs. Shell’s substitute teacher while she is on maternity leave. I have completed several long term positions within the last two school years. I loved interacting with the staff, students, and parents/guardians in all of those positions, and can’t wait to meet all of you in the 2nd grade. I received my bachelor’s degree in Education from Ohio State University. My husband is in the Army. I am a mother of three children who attend Licking Valley Schools. My children are 14 years, 11 years and 8 years. We love the outdoors and playing sports. I am very excited to get to know you and the students! I look forward to getting to know their different personalities and building relationships with them. I promise to strive to help them reach their academic/learning goals and will help them any way that I can. I will expect them to work their very best and to help me keep a safe and productive classroom. Together, we will all work to establish a classroom community. If there are any questions or comments about this letter or anything in the future, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you these next few months! Sincerely, Mrs. Dunn Reading Tip of the Week Be sure to check out this spot for a new reading tip each week! If you have not already done so, please remember to fill out, sign, and return the important packet of forms that was given to you at Open House. If you did not receive the packet, then I will send it home with your child.
