Check it out online https://wedolisten.org/ http://www.phpl.ca/ Extending a warm welcome to you and your child. Grade One and Grade Two are very exciting years in your child’s education. The initial years of your child’s academic career are so important as this is when self-esteem and self-confidence are developing. Encouragement, praise and approval are of utmost importance. Important Items: *an extra set of clothing and socks available in their bags for spills or puddles! *winter wool finger mittens get soaking wet; an extra pair in their bag would be helpful! *sturdy running shoes for indoor wear and for participating in gym! *please return the large plastic bag every day with any notes from home, reading or homework from school. The children enjoyed their first day. We wore our pirate hats for a treasure hunt around the school and then wrote some of our classroom rules on it. They were asked to share the “map” note which held the secret of the meaning behind each item in their treasure bag! Sailing into September Deb Oliver
