Welcome to Geometry Integrated II at Capital High School! I’m excited to have you in my class
this year and look forward to the adventure ahead of us. I believe that every student can do well in
math. One of the most important aspects of learning is creating an environment where everyone can feel
comfortable participating.
Class Expectations:
Students are expected to abide by these guidelines

Respect – Other students, your teacher, and yourself.

Responsibility – Be on time with required supplies (and homework) ready to work.

Cooperation (team work) – Be helpful and supportive of others in our class. A positive attitude
and willingness to work always makes math more fun!

All Capital High rules also apply in my classroom
Grades:
Grades will be calculated using 4 categories:

Assignments will be given daily. Many of our assignments (tasks) will be done in class working with
groups. You will be responsible for completing the tasks in class. You will also be assigned homework
problems each day (around 5 problems).
Quizzes will be given throughout each chapter.
Tests are a large part of your grade in this class and preparing for tests will be a key to your success.
If you are present for the day of the exam, you must take the exam. The only exception is if you have
been gone for more than two consecutive days (with excused absences) and have missed new material.
** Truancies will result in a 0 for the missed test, as well as any work missed that day **
