Research the following for your organism:



Introduction Page
o Common name and scientific name (know how to pronounce this!)
o 8 levels of taxonomy
o At least 3 other interesting facts
o Your name and hour
8 pictures minimum
Relate the 7 Themes of Biology: (one theme per page)
1) Cellular Structure and Function: cellular organization and type
2) Metabolism: Diet (what it eats) energy source (heterotrophic?)
3) Interdependence: Habitat (where they are located)
4) Reproduction: type (eggs or live birth, mating dances, etc.) & life span
5) Heredity: give # of chromosomes & a mutation in the species DNA
6) Evolution: Give phylogeny of the species & find a cladogram that contains that organism
7) Homeostasis: Adaptions for their environment. Give general physical characteristics of the species
