Profile
I am an accomplished Consultant, Trainer and Facilitator with more than 30 years’ experience.
Prior to joining ALC Education & Consulting, setting up my own Instructional Design Company and
acting as a freelance trainer with a number of Accredited Training Organizations I was a team
member at the DET Program Office of the NSW Department of Education, where I established and
managed the PRINCE2 training program. This entailed developing all course materials and course
management processes, procedures and organisation, establishing DET as a PRINCE2 Accredited
Training Organisation (ATO) and providing PRINCE2 training to the department’s internal staff. I
managed this initiative as a project in which we established, developed and managed the training
programme;
I also acted as the Lead PRINCE2 Trainer and delivered PRINCE2 Overview, Foundation and
Practitioner training courses to more than 500 DET staff. All this was accomplished while also
contributing to the establishment of the DET Program Office, acting as project management, program
management and benefits realisation management consultant for a number of projects and programs
across the Department, acting as project manager for the implementation of the departmental project
management system (CA Clarity) and establishing a project assurance framework.
Prior to this I also acted as IT Governance Manager for the NSW Attorney General’s Department,
where I established a system of IT Policies and Procedures, developed and implemented the
department’s project management framework and acted as Programme Manager for a programme to
implement IT Service Support based on the ITIL guidance.
