Terms and Conditions of offer of TATA CSIR OSDD Fellowship
1. This is an offer of Fellowship of Tata CSIR OSDD Fellowship (TCOF) to do the project titled …
under the Principal Investigator (PI) (name) at the (Institute name). The Fellowship is temporary and is
not an offer of appointment for a job and does not confer any right implicit or explicit for your
consideration for regularization/absorption in any of the Labs/Institutes of CSIR /OSDD/ IISc or under
any other institute participating in the OSDD programme.
2. Your engagement as TATA CSIR OSDD Fellow is under TCOF Project is initially for a period of six
months subject to review after six months and or till such time the job performed by you in the project
exists to the satisfaction of the PI and/or till your engagement is specifically extended by the
competent authority or till further orders whichever is earlier.
3. You will be paid a stipend of Rs.14,000/- + Rs.1,000/- for internet connectivity(Rupees Fifteen
Thousand Only) per month.
4. No travelling allowance will be admissible to you for reporting for duty.
5. You will not be allowed to discontinue your engagement without seeking prior approval of the PI. In
case you wish to discontinue the engagement prior to completion of your tenure, you must submit 15
day’s prior notice indicating specific reasons for not continuing or deposit one month’s stipend in lieu
of the notice period. The engagement shall cease from the date stipulated by the PI of the particular
project while accepting the resignation.
6. You may be discontinued from the project work by giving 15 Days’ notice or by giving a consolidated
amount in lieu thereof without assigning any reason and you will have no right against
CSIR/OSDD/TCOF under any circumstances.
7. You shall upload the details of the work carried out by you regularly on the OSDD website, under
intimation to the PI.
8. You will not divulge any information relating to any the work carried out by the PI or in CSIR
laboratories or the institution to which you are attached, which you may come to know during your
engagement with CSIR/OSDD its constituent labs to any party.
9. Your engagement will be subject to the production of the following original document at your own
expense at the time of joining for duty:a) Documentary evidence in support of your date of birth, qualification, identity proof etc.
b) Attestation forms (duly completed).
10. OSDD Project Director, whose decision shall be final and binding on both the parties to the contract,
shall determine any matter not specifically stated herein.
