NPQ Instructor II
Introduction

The NPQ Instructor II program is designed
for individuals that are interested in the
Fire and Emergency Services Training
Industry. The intent of the program is to
teach the necessary knowledge required
to perform a needs analysis, task analysis,
and cost analysis in order to develop a
lesson, course, and curriculum.
Introduction

The information for this program was
derived from the 7th Edition Fire and
Emergency Services Instructor IFSTA
manual. All other information and course
design is the work of the author.
Introduction
At the end of this class the student shall
complete a 50 minute presentation
developed from an original lesson plan.
 Five visual aids shall be used, three of
those shall be of different types.
 A seven question test will be developed.

Introduction
You will see some of the same topics that
were covered in Instructor I, but we will
go into much greater depth.
 As we cover each unit, the student will
build their lesson plan and prepare for
their presentation.

The objectives describe what the criteria or
minimum standard the student must meet.
It is key that the objectives are in the correct
format for reliability and validity in the test or
assessments.

based on the objectives.


The test questions must measure what was
stated in the objectives.
Test are a measuring tool for determining if
learning took place.
