Course Objective: By the end of the course, the student should be able to: Understand the role and function of project management and explain the phases of the Project Management Life Cycle, and a project manager's role in each phase. The student will know the unique issues, and critical success factors associated with project management, discover techniques for setting up a strong project team and determine the elements of a Risk Management Plan and structure, and define project work, map out the life cycle of a project, describe the role of a project manager, and set criteria for success.
