Course will introduce students to the business profession by incorporating and integrating business knowledge and information across departmental curriculum lines to enhance the overall comprehension of the business world. After every lecture a quiz is given covering important points of instruction; these are worth 10,15, or 20 points based on answer completeness. Since they are added to test points, daily quizzes are critical to passing the course. EVALUATION: 1. To take and pass the semester and final exams. 2. To take a daily quiz which covers important points in the lecture.. 3. To do special reports as they may be assigned. 4. NO CREDIT IS GIVEN AFTER FIVE ABSENCES; however, if circumstances warrant, an INCOMPLETE will be given and the student may complete the course in a succeeding semester. GRADING SCALE: All projects, activities, attendance, and tests will be assigned points. The final grade will reflect the students' position to the total range of class scores, not the total possible; this is called "grading on the curve". GRADES WILL NOT CARRY A PLUS OR A MINUS.
