Why choose audit?
o Everyone has own specific reasons
o Audit works in groups, feels more well-rounded, more broad
o Preference to work in client office and in teams
o Tax side still works in teams
Will you all be attending Meet the Firms? Does everyone have an offer?
o Everyone will be there with their respective firms
Do you have any advice for first year students?
o Get involved with an organization
o Do well academically
o Introduce yourself to firms
o Case competitions that each firm has
Does summer leadership lead to internships?
o It can lead to internship but not guaranteed
o A good way to get to know the culture of the firms
Does anyone have previous work experience before interning at these companies?
o Worked part time jobs throughout school, but not necessarily accounting related
Do they have internships abroad?
o Yes, can apply to do internships abroad, for instance PwC sends some interns
abroad for a week
What experience is more important? Networking or gpa?
o A mixture of both
How many interviews do you go through?
o 2 interviews: 1 on campus, 1 at the firm
What’s the farthest you’ve travelled to get to a client’s place?
o 10-50 miles usually, some about an hour drive away from the office


Can request where to go a lot of the time
Bring a padfolio, put as many resumes as possible in there
Ask for a business card after talking to a professional, write a few notes on the back
about what you talked about
Email them the next morning to follow up and etc.
