Basic Purpose and Scope:
Brief description of the job
Assemble and test electrical and mechanical components into a wide range
scope and purpose
of products and equipment for the Oilfield business, utilizing engineering
assembly Drawings and Pressure Testing Processes.

Principal Responsibilities:

Previous Experience and
Competencies:
Experience/Education
Required:
e.g. BEng Electrical
Engineering
Supervision, Middle Management, Assembly & Test,
Machine Shop and all support departments
including tool room, inspection, programming and
personnel.
Performs routine and non-routine electrical tests, data collecting
and reporting in all phases of product design and development.
Conducts troubleshooting to diagnose product, process, or
program defects and repair them. Performs wiring tasks such as
routing wires within a chassis, crimping, clamping splicing and
soldering.
Performs all technical duties in these functional areas: electronic,
mechanical and systems. Completes tests, measurements,
operations and process controls.
Provides expertise and technical support for development,
tailoring and execution of test procedures.
Works closely with management and technical staff throughout
the local and extended EMS organization, and sometimes
contribute and work alongside the many supporting field
organizations.
Education:
 Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3
/HNC in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering is
essential.
 Competency in the latest IEE regulations (BS7671) is desirable.
