PART 2:
Others’ View of Your Personality
Cut up at least 30 slips of paper to give to friends, relatives, teachers, classmates, etc.
Ask each person to write one word that best describes your personality. Have them fold
the slip of paper and put it in a container or envelope. DO NOT PEEK AT THEM.
Bring the container/envelope of slips to class on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. You will sort
through them and write them (write multiple words multiple times) into a WORD or
Google document. If using WORD, save the document into your student file.
PART 3:
Creating a Word Cloud
1. Go to www.worditout.com.
2. Click on “Create Your Own”.
3. Open your document from Part 2. Copy your words and paste them into the box that
says “Original Text”
4. Click the “Generate” button.
5. Experiment with the various formatting options on the left to make your word cloud
look like you want it to.
6. To print, you’ll need to provide an email and follow some instructions (option: you
can print at home if you have color ink to make it look extra special). 

2. how others describe your personality (from part 2)
3. how the online tests described your personality and what you think of those
descriptions (from part 4)
PART 6:
Turn it all in!
Staple the following together (in this order) and hand in as one packet
a) this handout
b) a printout of your word cloud (from part 3)
c) your reflection (from part 5)
As we study personality, I thought it would be interesting for you to take some online versions of a few
personality tests. Remember, these are online versions – which means you’re getting online results. The
results are not intended to take the place of any type of professional psychological evaluation or
analysis. You will, however, use the results as a part of an assignment comparing your assessment of
your personality with others’ assessments of your personality.
Access the links below from my teacher website, take the tests, and then record your results.
