Hamlet Literary Groups Role: Literary Luminaries H Objective: To facilitate understanding of key ideas and themes from specific passages of the play. Responsibilities: Each group member of the Literary Luminaries will be responsible for reading the Act in its entirety, in order to identify and analyze Shakespeare’s use of literary terms to enhance characterization and advance the plot. All scenes must be evenly distributed and utilized in the chart provided. Requirements: 1. Literary Terms List: Each group member will need to define the following terms using the McDougalLittell text. Definitions for the literary terms can be found in the glossary. The completed handout is due on the block day. 2. Literary Terms Chart: Group members will use the literary terms chart provided to identify and analyze the usage of various literary terms in the assigned act. Each member will be responsible for two terms each and must copy and paste the chart to Google Drive (instructions found on my website). Google Drive and Turnitin.com Guidelines: Each group must invite their instructor to edit the document. Failure to invite the instructor onto the document will result in a zero for the entire group. Google Drive will assign a color to each group member, indicating what she contributed and how much time she worked on the document. The literary terms chart must be submitted to Turnitin.com on the morning of the block day, no later than 7:25 a.m. (6:25 AM for Zero Hour). Failure to upload the chart to TII will result in a zero for all group members. Choose a responsible and dependable group member for this task. One hard copy of the chart AND TII receipt must be printed out for the block day. The teacher will not print the hard copy for the group, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
