The format of the final examination is 60 multiple choice and essay/critical thinking. You will have a
choice of essays. The MC will be worth approximately 70% and essays approximately 30%. You will be
evaluated on your knowledge and understanding of the following subjects:

o patient history and physicals including
 ABCs
 physical exam
 vital signs (P, BP, RR, SaO2)
injuries/disorders and their treatments (subject to change):
o seizures
o stroke (CVA)
o altered mentation
o pain management
o spinal cord injuries
dissections:
o identification of visceral organs
o identifying various body regions and bones on the rat/pig/human
