The Danielson Rubric is a framework for professional practice,
from meeting novices’ needs to enhancing veterans’ skills.
It is a helpful “road map”.
Danielson Rubric
• The Danielson rubric has been piloted in 43 CPS
schools in areas 2, 8, 13, and 16.
• This year, the Danielson Rubric will expand to
include all schools in areas 2, 8, 13, and 16 and in
15 AMPS schools
• HR wants all school involved by 2011-12
• The Department of Libraries’ area library
coordinators are currently working to make the
rubric more school library related
