Third Grade Animal Research Project
Assigned: March 5, 2012
Due: March 12, 2012
Third graders have been assigned a research project. Students may research an
animal of their choice.
The report must include all of the elements listed in the Grading Rubric. The
report must be hand written in the child’s handwriting and include a rough draft
copy (with editing marks) and a final copy written on notebook paper. You may
help students edit their papers, but please do not complete the report for them.
Teachers recognize when a child has done the work. The final copy paper must
be neat. Also, please do not wait until the last minute to complete the report.
This is not something that can be done in one night.
