first time
• Cycle 12-16: 15-25% increase in awarded time (orbit
evolution)
• Cycle 13 awards: median $42K, average $54K, decrease ~10%
SR2012:
• CXC requested GO budget augmentation to compensate
decrease in budget and $/time awarded
• 50% of proposed augmentation was approved
• theory, archive funding at same level
• increase in GO total budget

• Most did not feel XVPs were >> LPs, just larger
• Supported continuation of XVP-level language
