‫א‪ .‬מטרות הקורס‬
‫הקורס נועד להקנות לסטודנטים תשתית תיאורטית לחקר סכסוכים פנימיים ובינלאומיים מסוגים שונים; להרחיב את‬
‫הידע על סכסוכים‪ ,‬מלחמות וטרור במדינות מרכזיות בדרום אסיה; ולהבין את ההשלכות של סכסוכים אלה על תת‪-‬‬
‫המערכת האזורית ועל הזירה העולמית‪.‬‬
‫ב‪ .‬תוכן הקורס‬
‫חוסר היציבות הפוליטי ועליית האסלאם הרדיקלי באפגניסטן ובפקיסטן מהווים איום על המדינות השכנות להן‬
‫במערכת הדרום אסיאתית ומקור משמעותי להזנת הטרור העולמי‪ .‬סמינר זה יתמקד בדיון במאפייני הסכסוכים‪,‬‬
‫המלחמה והטרור באפגניסטן ובפקיסטן ובסכסוך המתמשך בין הודו לפקיסטן‪ .‬הדיון יתמקד בנושאים תיאורטיים‬
‫שונים כמו‪ :‬הסכסוך הממושך‪ ,‬סכסוכים אתניים‪ ,‬סכסוכים טריטוריאליים‪ ,‬מלחמות‪ ,‬ניהול סכסוך ומאמצים למיתון‬
‫ויישוב סכסוכים‪ ,‬אסלאם רדיקאלי‪ ,‬טרור ומלחמה בטרור‪ .‬הנושאים האמפיריים יתמקדו בצמיחת האסלאם הרדיקאלי‬
‫בפקיסטן והאיום שלו על יציבות המדינה‪ ,‬מלחמת האזרחים באפגניסטן ועליית הטליבאן‪ ,‬הפלישה הסובייטית‬
‫לאפגניסטן בתקופת המלחמה הקרה‪ ,‬הפלישה האמריקנית לאפגניסטן אחרי ה‪ 11-‬בספטמבר והמאמץ הבינלאומי‬
‫למגר את הטרור המתבסס באזורים השבטיים משני צדי הגבול בין פקיסטן ואפגניסטן‪ .‬כמו כן נתמקד בסכסוך בין‬
‫הודו לפקיסטן בחבל קשמיר ובהשפעת הגורמים האסלאמיסטים על הסכסוך‪.‬‬
‫מהלך השיעורים‪:‬‬
‫הסמסטר הראשון יוקדש לדיון תיאורטי על סכסוכים פנימיים ובינלאומיים‪ ,‬ואילו הסמסטר השני יוקדש לדיון אמפירי‬
‫על הסכסוכים בדרום אסיה ולהצגת עבודות הסטודנטים‪.‬‬
