Our culminating writing task will require you to analyze how Jonas’s point of view is different from the other characters in The Giver and why that’s important to understanding its theme. This essay will count as a test grade for the 1 st quarter.
Your essay must include five paragraphs including an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion – all of which must be at least five sentences.
You may type (12 point font/single spaced) or write (neat/blue or black pen/loose leaf) your essay.
Correct parenthetical documentation is required for all evidence cited from the book. We will review this in class.
