Home Front WWI
For Success “Over There” Success First needs to Start Here
World War I was looked at as the War to end all Wars. It took every man, women and
child to fight this war on land, air and water. In order for your men to be successful on
the battle front they had to have a strong, supportive home front.
In groups, you will come together as a sub-committee under the War Industries Board to
create a propaganda poster to help “inspire” the American Home Front. These should
promote the war based on the topic you have been assigned. Answer your group questions
and then get started on your posters!
