Colin Dyer President and Chief Executive Officer Jones Lang LaSalle Responsibilities Mr. Dyer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, the leading integrated global real estate services and money management firm with approximately 13,600 professional employees located in corporate offices in more than 160 major cities, and operations in more than 450 cities in 50 countries. In this role, Mr. Dyer has overall responsibility for guiding Jones Lang LaSalle’s strategic vision and growth and for chairing the firm’s Global Executive Committee, its most senior internal management committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Experience In 2000, Mr. Dyer was named the founding CEO of the WorldWide Retail Exchange, an Internet-based business-to-business exchange that utilizes sophisticated technology to enable retailers and manufacturers to improve efficiency substantially through eprocurement and supply chain processes. During his tenure, he guided the organization’s strategic, operational and financial direction as it expanded to offices in Washington, D.C., Paris and Tokyo, with a membership of more than 40 of the world’s leading retailers and manufacturers, and US$9 billion worth of activity. From 1996 until 2000, Mr. Dyer was CEO of Courtaulds Textiles plc, an international clothing and fabric company operating in 17 countries with 22,000 employees and sales of US$1.3 billion. He began his career with Courtaulds in 1982 as Managing Director of the Dutch retail chain, GDL, and held various positions with the company before being named Chief Executive. While CEO, he guided corporate strategy, developed a key set of operating principles and installed a new Operating Board. In 2000, he was instrumental in increasing shareholder value in the agreement under which Sara Lee Corporation assumed ownership of Courtaulds. Previously, from 1978 to 1982, Mr. Dyer served with McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam as a client manager to firms in the banking, chemical, retail, petrochemical, medical equipment and aerospace industries. Education and Affiliations Mr. Dyer holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College in London. He speaks Dutch, English and French. He is a member of The Chicago Club, the Economic Club of Chicago and on the Board of Directors of The Executives’ Club of Chicago. .
