equipments by Huawei equipments). Gained hands-on experience with Nortel LMIT and
Huawei iManager 2000. Monitored alarms on both terminal and reports to the field
person about the sites up/down, PCM link up/down, radio’s soft reset etc. studied
hardware manual of BSC 6000 and BTS 3900.
ZTE Corporation (29 Jun 2009 – 7 Aug 2009)
Worked in Optical Transmission department. Gained hands-on experience with opticalcommunication solutions like SDH and DWDM. Monitored ZTE NMS E300 and ZTE
hardware systems. Studied hardware manuals of S385 and S380/S390 based on SDH &
DWDM. Attended seminars on SDH & DWDM. Workout on ZTE telecom systems in
PTCL Gateway & Pak-Capital exchanges on different remote sites.
Project:
GPS Based Vehicle Tracking System on GSM Network
Objective of the Project is to make a vehicle equipped with a tracking system integrated
with a GPS. The tracking system included micro controller (interfaced with car) and
wireless communication control (through GMS network) that enables/disables ignition
etc. of car. A GPS gets its signals from the satellites and pinpoints the car’s location.
Gathers information from GPS transferred to the remote location, the alert message gets
sent through GSM network.
Achievements:
 3rd runner-up in the Final Year Project at university ,
 Project was “GPS Based Vehicle Tracking System on GSM Network”
