Skills Required Training To Be Provided Our experience spans multiple industry sectors including transport, water, energy, and the built environment both in the UK and globally. The successful candidate will have good communication skills. The candidate will study as part of the apprenticeship a level 2 Certificate in Accounting (AAT) or level 3 Diploma in Accounting (AAT) depending on experience. If the candidate does not already hold the relevant qualifications in Maths and English they may also be required to complete Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English Level 2. This apprenticeship will be delivered by South Cheshire College where the candidate will be released one day a week from the workplace to attend college. Future Prospects Personal Qualities Full time accountant in the practice. The successful candidate will be proficient in IT packages including word, excel and outlook. Attention to detail is a must in this role. Qualifications required GCSE or equivalent qualification at least a grade C or above in Maths and English is required. Important information From 1st October 2013 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £2.68 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
