We have a fantastic opportunity for 16 – 19 year olds interested in starting a career
and gaining a recognised qualification in the motor industry.
The Apprenticeship Programmes allow apprentices to work full time and have the
opportunity to earn while they learn and to put theory into practice within an
automotive training environment.
We have vacancies for ;Apprentice Vehicle Spray Painter based in Sherwood Ind Estate, Bonnyrigg
You will learn how to prepare vehicles to be painted after damage has occurred or
panels have been replaced. This will include repairing minor scratches to match the
rest of the vehicle.
Apply paint and finishes to a vehicle that has been repaired by the vehicle body
repairer. You will be able to use the various materials on vehicles and the
preparation required to be done before applying the paints and finishes
You will attend college as part of this apprenticeship
You must have standard grades or equivalent in English and Maths and a Science or
Technical subject at level 4 or above. You will be working towards SVQ Level 3
